Dr. Serdar's research interests include corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. His research examines the combined impact of state and national politics on how firms operate and how politics affect firm performance. Dr. Serdar teaches Strategic Management, International Business, and Organizational Behavior both at MBA and undergraduate capstone level. As a practitioner, he has spent most of his time in the pharmaceutical industry. He has practical experience in the United States, Germany, and Turkey with companies including Johnson & Johnson and Bayer HealthCare.
