MS in Speech-Language Pathology Careers & Outcomes

Minnesota State Moorhead Speech-Language Pathology graduates have extremely high job placement 100 percent and PRAXIS examination pass rates at 96 percent for the three-year average.

Upon completing the five-semester program, you’ll be qualified for clinical positions in communication disorders throughout the nation. More than 50 clinical practicum affiliations are available for off-campus practica and internships, including medical, school, private and other settings.

After graduation, approximately half of 黑料福利网’s Speech-Language Pathology graduates work in a medical setting, while the other half work in school settings. Employment in all sectors of the field is growing steadily. Employment of speech-language pathologists is projected to grow 21 percent in the next 10 years and about 14,000 job openings are projected each year on average.

Speech-Language Pathology Certification

In addition to completing the degree, there are two steps that must be completed to be eligible for certification in Speech-Language Pathology:

  1. Pass Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology at ASHA’s established score
  2. Successfully complete a clinical fellowship experience of at least 36 weeks
