Professor Brynjolson’s research focuses on modern and contemporary art, and examines large-scale, long-term public artworks that address the politics of housing and urban development. Brynjolson is a member of the editorial collective of FIELD: A Journal of Socially Engaged Art Criticism and her writing has appeared in FIELD as well as in Akimbo, Geist, Craft Journal, and a number of edited books. She completed a BA at the University of Winnipeg, an MA at Concordia University in Montreal, and a PhD at UC San Diego, all in art history. Before joining the School of Art at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø, she held the position of Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Indianapolis.
