  • The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to Native American and Alaska Native students generally based upon merit or demonstrated financial need.

  • The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students attending tribal colleges and universities.

  • Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate, master, doctoral, or professional degree as a full time student at an accredited school in the United States, demonstrate financial need, and be able to demonstrate personal enrollment in a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, or possess one fourth (1/4) degree verifiable federally recognized American Indian blood.

  • Undergraduate Northern Native American Indian (one-fourth) students enrolled in university, college or technical college with no more than 150 semester credits or 210 quarter credits at full-time or part-time status. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25.

  • An underrepresented minority in the accounting profession (including but not limited to: Black or African American; Hispanic or Latino; Native American; Pacific Islander; or Asian American); Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or a full-time graduate level student pursuing a degree in an “accounting-related” major.

  • Scholarship for freshman Native American Students who are pursuing studies in agribusiness, agricultural production, agricultural sciences, or a natural resources degree at any postsecondary institution with residency in North or South Dakota.

  • Student must be enrolled in a tribe from the Continental US or Alaska. There is no minimum blood quantum requirement. Student must be enrolled full time at an accredited institution of higher learning.

  • Scholarship for Native American and federally recognized tribal member students.

  • Scholarship(s) for Native American students who are ¼ or more degree American Indian. Must attend a college or university full-time, seek a bachelor's degree or higher, and be an enrolled member of a U.S. tribe.

  • Both merit-based and need-based, the competitive Cobell Scholarship is annual, non-renewable and available to any post-secondary student who is: an enrolled member of a US Federally-Recognized Tribe, enrolled in full-time study; and seeking an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral or professional degree at an accredited non-profit, public or private institution.

  • Open to Native American, certified tribal members with plans to work on a reservation. Must be an undergraduate junior or senior accepted to or already attending an accredited college/university, be carrying at least eight semester hours, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Must be U.S. citizen and demonstrate financial need.

  • This scholarship is awarded to help Native Americans (proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers) students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to get an education at the undergraduate or graduate levels. All awards are judged based on financial need and academic achievement. Must demonstrate financial need and a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

  • Applicants must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe; accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited community college, or four-year college or university within the State of Minnesota; pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree; possess a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate applicants and 3.0 for graduate applicants.

  • Scholarship for Native American full-time undergraduate or graduate students with tribal enrollment majoring in an agricultural-related field, or be able to demonstrate how their degree program relates to Native food systems.

  • This scholarship is awarded once a year to one Native American student (proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers) enrolled full time at a two- or four-year college or university. Must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and have a 3.25 GPA or higher.

  • Native American Scholarships.

  • The IHSSP Indian Health Service Scholarship provides full tuition and fees, books, uniforms, equipment, travel, insurance, national board exams, travel for clinical training, and a stipend for students majoring in health professions, engineering and accounting.

  • No restriction as to tribal affiliation or Indian blood quantum. The student must provide a Tribal Registration number and fulfill the other requirements. The scholarships are given for technical, vocational or college studies but not granted for studies beyond a Bachelors degree.

  • Provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students enrolled in an accredited Minnesota college, university or vocational school who are of one-fourth or more Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award.

  • The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service,and commitment to issues related to American Indian nations or to the environment.

  • Applicants must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe and majoring in a business filed. Students must be a junior, senior or graduate student and enrolled full time at an accredited university.

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited four-year undergraduate institution with 3.3 GPA or higher or top 5 percent of class and certified as having financial need. For students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral and social science health-related research.

  • Scholarship for Native American full-time students in good standing at an accredited institution of higher learning pursuing a degree in a field of natural resources.

  • Any Native American graduating high school senior or college student pursuing a career in media is eligible. All student applicants must be current NAJA members in good standing. Annual memberships cost $10 for high school students and $20 for college students.

  • Scholarship for Native American students who have residency in North Dakota.

  • Scholarships for American Indians and Alaska Natives who are enrolled in U.S. federally recognized Tribes or state-recognized Tribes.

  • The Page Education Foundation awards annual, renewable scholarships – called Page Grants - to students of color pursuing a post-secondary education in Minnesota. Students who accept a Page Grant make a commitment to volunteer and tutor younger children in grades K-8th during the academic year they are awarded the grant. Applicants must identify as a person of color and/or American Indian, graduate from a MN high school, enroll full-time at a MN postsecondary educational institution, and be willing to complete 50 hours of volunteer service with children in K-8th grade. There is no GPA requirement.

  • Scholarships are open to all Native peoples from anywhere in the Americas, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Indigenous Pacific Islanders who are interested in archaeology.

  • Scholarship for Native American students or tribally enrolled members.

  • The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. For more information, please visit the Gates Scholarship website.

  • Scholarship for Native American students pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources, Forestry, and Fire majors.

The Minnesota Indian Teacher Training Program supports American Indian students working toward an undergraduate degree in a teaching field or a graduate degree in education.

Eligibility: An American Indian student is eligible who, after applying for federal and Minnesota state financial aid, has financial need that remains unmet. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher and make satisfactory academic progress toward completion of degree.
