IRB Proposal Process

During the transition from IRBNet to the new Cayuse platform, all research proposals will be submitted using the . We anticipate the interim process to run through the end of the calendar year.

Information for Students Submitting IRB Proposals

To ensure the submission process is done correctly:

  • DO NOT submit this form until your supervising faculty member indicates your project documents are complete and ready for review.
  • You must provide the name and email address for the faculty member who is supervising your project as the Principal Investigator (PI).
    NOTE: Make sure the email address is correct. This form will route to the faculty member based on the address you provide.
  • You must have your current, unexpired CITI training certificate ready to upload in a PDF format.
  • It is your responsibility to notify the faculty member that you have submitted this form.
  • They will receive a notification to complete the PI section, sign and attached their CITI training certificate.
  • Once the PI submits their section of the form, it will route to the IRB Administrator to schedule the IRB committee review.
